Read moreThe Soul Food project is humbled to have been able to deliver 5 058 334 meals in the first quarter of the current financial year (March – May). 63% of our beneficiaries were children in primary schools and ECD centres. Cape Town was the top branch (18%) closely followed by Sedibeng (15%) and East Rand and Tshwane (14% each).
POWA Pack and SOUL SEED vegetables accounted for 60% of meals, with beans (9%), rice (3%), Rise Against Hunger mixes (3%) and mielie meal (2%) next in line.
At this rate 20 million meals this year is a possibility……
