The Soul Food Distribution Centre in Spartan, Johannesburg is fully stocked with food and blankets and ready for distribution to the branches in August.
This collage was taken from four CCTV security cameras and it gives a good idea of the size of the operation. The DC manager, Ndabe Moyo, does a great job of stacking the food into designated areas, ready for collection by local managers or the interbranch distribution team who supply the rest of the branches throughout South Africa.
Feeding 85 000 kids every day is a challenging logistic operation.
