R is a 17-year old male, currently in Grade 11. He was gang raped by a group of men when he was 11 years old. He never told anyone about the incident as he was afraid that they would kill him.
The Teddy Bear Foundation assists abused children by accompanying them step by step on their journey to healing. SOUL FOOD has formed an alliance to provide the Foundation with food for the kids and to help in any other way we can.
In the pic Thabo Maluleke, Soul Food’s COO, hands over a trolley load of POWA Packs to Edzi and “Teddy”. Those 70 packs will provide 1750 highly nutritious meals to the Foundation, keeping abused kids off the streets.
