The Soul Food Project has just delivered 1,73 million meals for children in ECD centres and primary schools in March. As you can see from the graph, this was our fourth highest total ever. The blue line shows the monthly target (currently at 1,5 million meals a month) and the black line is the 12-month moving average which has now begun to swing upwards.
This excellent effort is mainly due to our generous supporters and financial backers, but also to the outstanding efforts of the Soul Food team who have worked tirelessly to get the meals to those little kids. With 20 working days in March, this is 86 630 meals a day!
