The Soul Provider Trust is delighted to confirm the appointment of Dr Paul Soko to its Board of Trustees.
Dr Paul Soko is currently the Chief Medical Officer at Life Healthcare (in the southern Africa division). He is a Board member of the Hospital Association of South Africa (HASA) where he chairs the Clinical Sub-committee and also serves on the Board of Health Quality Assessment (HQA).
He is a qualified Paediatrician from the University of Cape Town and attained his basic medical degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. He also holds a Master of Philosophy degree (Economic Policy) from the University of Stellenbosch.
His 15-year experience in corporate healthcare commenced when he was appointed General Manager of Clinical Services by Mediclinic Proprietary Limited in 2008. He subsequently joined Discovery Health in 2013 as Divisional Manager in strategic risk management until he was appointed at Life Healthcare in July 2016 as Clinical Directorate Executive.
We believe that Dr Soko will make an invaluable scientific and technical contribution to the food products that Soul Food distributes throughout South Africa.
