The Siembamba Creche in (the aptly named) Lawaaikamp in George was almost washed away this week. The school is in a municipal building but has no fence, no playground equipment and when it rains the kids get stuck inside this dreadful old building all day.
Esra Isaacs, the Soul Food manager in George says the thing that really brings him joy is when they spot his truck they all come running out in the rain, loudly screaming “Soul Food, Soul Food, Soul Food!” at the top of their lungs!
