Managing Trustee: The Soul Provider Trust, City of Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
The Soul Food Emergency Response Centre in Plettenberg Bay donates 200 POWA packs (5 000 meals) to the local creches, ECD Centres and primary schools in the area every two weeks. The food is collected by the Society of St Vincent De Paul (SSVP) based at St Christopher’s Catholic Church and then distributes it on Soul Food’s behalf.
In the pic above the SSVP Committee is standing behind the kids at the Siyakula Creche in Qolweni.
This is a good example of collaboration between NPO’s making a difference in communities. The kids at Lumen Christi even sang a song for SSVP!
