This afternoon, the founder of the Soul Food project, Rev Brent Chalmers, got down and dirty in the Distribution Centre at Grader Road. He stripped off his shirt and helped change tyres on the delivery vehicles.
“I don’t see the point of sitting in an ivory tower in Hyde Park, sipping latte’s in a cashmere jersey, when I can make a meaningful contribution where the real men operate” he said.
