He started by welcoming everyone present and gave a thorough briefing about Soul Food and its products, he also explained the importance of collaboration and working together with different stakeholders.
Thabo introduced the two new Soul Food branch managers of Kathu and Kuruman, Charles Bosman and Rebaone Toto to the guests that were present. These included:
Mrs Gosiamemang Masisi (from Department of Education head of ECDs in JTG District)
Mr Thapelo Mosegedi,a Chief Whip from JTG District Municipality (delegated by District Mayor)
Mr Victor Mulangisi (Kathu Gazette local newspaper)
Mrs Gail Clarke and Selinah Hutiri (principals of two local ECDs).
After the speech, Victor Mulangisi took pictures for launch coverage by the Kathu Gazette that will be published on Friday 10th March.
The Soul Food truck was then offloaded into the store, kindly provided by the Catholic Church, and two new managers loaded their vehicles to commence with their duties. The following food was delivered for the launch:

| 60 x 12,5kg RELODA Bags | 3 600 meals |
| 10 RAHA Boxes | 3 600 meals |
| 100 SOUL SEED boxes | 45 000 meals |
| TOTAL | 100 800 meals |
Later, there was also a visit to the warehouse by two Assmang Officials, Ms Tshidisho Seikaneng and Ms Motshidisi Witkoei.
